IVCE - IV Foundations

20 hours of prior phlebotomy experience required.

• Experience can come from completing a program in nursing (LPN minimum), Advanced EMT, Medical Assisting, Radiology Technician, or Phlebotomy, with a minimum of 20 hours of phlebotomy coursework/lab time, and should include using phlebotomy techniques practiced on live patients.

• Experience can come from clinicals, externships, or working in the field that had a minimum of 20 hours of phlebotomy techniques practiced on live patients.

• Any combination of the above that results in a minimum of 20 hours of phlebotomy techniques that included practice on live patients.
